I wrote a story about two sisters who go to boarding school.
One is quiet and loves books, the other loves playing tricks.
Things get crazy, but in the end, they both change in the best way!

(The parents announce boarding school and we meet Felicia & Chelsea.)

“No! I don’t want to go, ” thought Felicia. “Alright, Mummy! I will,” she said, counting the flowers on the living room rug.
“Oh! Just think of all the tricks I can play there,” thought Chelsea excitedly.“Sure, Mummy, I’d love to go,” she said.
Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, along with the girls, were sitting in the living room, enjoying their after-dinner coffee when Mrs. Robinson cleared her throat and said to the girls, “Felicia, Chelsea, your daddy and I have decided to send you both to Yellowstone Boarding School this fall.”
The girls, startled, looked at their mother, who was now taking a sip of her coffee. “We think,” she continued, “that Felicia needs to learn to deal with other smart girls her age, whereas Chelsea should leave her naughty friends at this school and learn some discipline.”
Mr. Robinson looked at his daughters and asked if they had any objections, but neither of them raised one. They drank their remaining coffee in silence.
Felicia was a thirteen-year-old girl studying in Form I. She was tall, with fair, rosy cheeks. She had thick eyebrows and long, black, curly hair, which she often twirled around her finger when deep in thought. She was an intelligent girl who loved reading and writing. Being an introvert, she could never share her feelings with anyone. That was why she couldn’t tell her parents that she wasn’t sure whether boarding school was a good idea.
Chelsea, on the other hand, was the complete opposite of Felicia. She was fair, short, and chubby. She had sparkling blue eyes, curly red hair, and freckles on her face. She loved to play the fool and was always found in the town playground playing rugby. She was very excited to go to boarding school because she was thinking about the freedom she could have there. She even secretly started planning to play tricks on her classmates.
(The journey and first look at Townsville and the boarding school.)

When they reached Townsville, where Yellowstone Boarding School was located, they saw many tall buildings, including impressive skyscrapers, all painted in pale colors. People were chattering and talking to each other.
There was an aroma of different kinds of food such as barbecue, chicken mandarin, hotdogs, tacos, and beef burgers filling the air. They could see colorful fruit and vegetable stalls, along with small grocery and meat shops.
One shop that caught their attention was a grand bookshop. The roads were narrow but long. There were both modern and classic houses, some of which seemed cozy and inviting. The weather was pleasant, and they could feel a gentle breeze blowing now and again.
The Yellowstone Boarding School itself had a gigantic building with an enormous dark brown entrance gate. On the right side, there were multiple baseball courts, and on the left side of the walkway, they could see lush green lawns.
(Felicia makes friends and faces the mystery of missing books.)

After filling in the forms, Felicia and Chelsea were sent to their dormitories, and their parents went back home.
When Felicia reached her dormitory, she saw a spacious room with eight beds, some neatly made and others messy with crumpled sheets and pillows on the floor. One bed in the right corner of the room looked vacant, so she put her bag near it. Surprisingly, there was no one in the room. She was told that all the girls were in the common room, so she also headed there, the most favorite room of all the girls in the dorm.
When she entered, she saw many girls inside. Some were playing games, others were solving puzzles. A few girls were reading books, and a couple were listening to music on the radio. She noticed a group of five girls chatting and laughing together.
Felicia found herself a comfy armchair and started to read a magazine. But before she could finish the first page, two girls named Molly and Lily came to her and asked her to be their friend. She thought for a moment, then, feeling lonely and homesick, agreed. Soon, their trio was seen in every corridor of the Yellowstone dorm.
Felicia began to adjust to the new environment, but there were a few challenges. One of them was sleepless nights. She wasn’t used to sharing her room with anyone, but here she was surrounded by seven noisy girls. One of them snored, and another kept the light on all night. Another issue, which became the biggest problem of her life in the dorm, was that someone was stealing her books, which were her precious treasures. She became upset, cried, and asked her roommates, but could find no clue. She even tried changing where she kept her books, but nothing worked.
When Chelsea reached her dormitory, she also couldn’t find any of her roommates at first. But she found her bed among the eight in the room, unpacked her bag, and began thinking about all the tricks she would play on her fellow students. When she was almost done, three girls entered the room. They were Lina, Jamaica, and Jane. Chelsea became friends with them immediately, as they were like-minded, naughty, and clever. Their friendship brought real turbulence to the dorm.
There were days when girls in the dormitory couldn’t find one slipper from their pairs, and all of them seemed to be taking part in a one-legged race. Once, Chelsea and her friends swapped everyone’s pillows, so no one could sleep properly that night. One afternoon, Chelsea and her partners in crime invited the whole dorm to a pizza party. They secretly sprinkled extra chilli peppers on the pizzas, and when the girls ate them, their eyes turned red and their lips burned. The hosts never admitted it was their plan.
Upon receiving complaints, Chelsea and her group were called by the head of the Dorm, but they always managed to prove their innocence.
(The thief is caught and Chelsea begins to change after meeting Miss Chloe.)

After a week, when Felicia still couldn’t do anything about the missing books, she went to the dorm mistress, Miss Chloe, an old lady with a wrinkled face and deep blue, thoughtful eyes.
Felicia had been told by her friends that Miss Chloe was a strict but wise mistress who would definitely help her. Confused and teary-eyed, Felicia told the mistress how her books had been stolen from the dorm room. Miss Chloe listened patiently and said, “Hmm, I think it could be Fern. Felicia, I’ll tell you a plan to catch the thief. Ask your friends to help you and don’t be shy. Yellowstone School will be right by your side. If anything goes wrong, come straight to me. Okay?”
Felicia thanked the mistress for her advice and came out of her office. She didn’t know why, but she felt lighter and relieved after meeting Miss Chloe. “She really has a charismatic personality, ” thought Felicia. She met Molly and Lily in the corridor outside their room and told them what the mistress had advised. They agreed to help her. Together, they placed Felicia’s ring as bait and attached an alarm to it. It wasn’t an easy job, but somehow they managed. That night, when a shadow appeared and touched the ring, the alarm rang so loudly that it woke everyone in the room. Miss Chloe was right; it was Fern. She had done similar things before and was already on a warning. This time, Miss Chloe didn’t accept her apology and expelled her.
Miss Chloe was a woman of rules and principles. Felicia and her friends were overjoyed. They wrote a letter of thanks to the mistress. Felicia was now settled in the dorm and had made some new friends too.
On the other hand, Chelsea also had to pay a visit to Miss Chloe’s office, but she was called there because of complaints about her mischievous behavior. When asked about the reason for her actions, she made an innocent face and denied everything.
Miss Chloe looked at her with her deep blue eyes for several long moments, which felt like hours to Chelsea. She became nervous and finally admitted her mistakes. Being a kind and wise head, Miss Chloe knew how to handle her. She made Chelsea the deputy head girl of the dorm. Baffled, Chelsea could not believe what she heard. The same went for her roommates and other fellows, but nobody knew that Miss Chloe wanted to bring out the gem hidden behind Chelsea’s naughty exterior.
Time proved that Miss Chloe was right. Yellowstone had never had such a cheerful, friendly, yet strong-willed deputy head girl before.
(The term ends and both girls realize how much they have changed.)

Time passed quickly. Soon, the term was over. All the students began packing up.
Felicia said, “Hey! That’s my lunchbox you’re taking, Polly! And Molly, I’m not sure you really want to take that poor puppy who sits outside our window with you!” Lily said, “Hey, why are you taking my slippers, Pam?” “Fanny, your pajamas are over there, not with me, silly. My goodness, we’re in such a muddle!” said Jasika.
In the other corner of the dorm, Chelsea was calmly packing her bag. No one could believe she was the same Chelsea who had come to the dorm half a year earlier. She was helping others sort their things.
Miss Chloe’s decision had truly been a blessing in disguise. When their parents arrived, Chelsea and Felicia walked behind them, smiling, thinking about how much change Yellowstone Boarding School had brought to their personalities and how surprised their parents would be to meet their new selves.
They couldn’t wait to rejoin the dorm for the next term.
